It’s easy to be overwhelmed by the negative stats surrounding #WomeninTech and more broadly #WomeninSTEM, so this #InternationalDayofHappiness we’d like to share our reasons why we’re happy to be women in tech.
“I’m super happy to be a woman in tech, but what makes me happy most is inspiring other women to have careers in tech. It’s an exciting industry to work in with many opportunities!”
“I’m happy because I get to inspire girls and women of all ages to consider a career a tech through my work. I think it’s really important to pay it forward whenever you can and make others aware of how great this sector is to work in!”
“I’m incredibly happy to be in this constantly evolving sector where everyday is different and presents new challenges. It’s inspiring to see the the sector grow more and more diverse, albeit slowly.”
