Here at InnovateHer, we want education to be smooth and modern for teachers and students alike.
So, we asked teachers what they needed. Then we built it.
There’s a stat we come back to a lot at InnovateHer: only 3% of girls and non-binary young people say tech is their first career choice. Not because they can’t do it. Not because they’re not interested. But because far too often, no one has shown them they belong there.
After 12 years of working with teachers, schools, and over 125,000 students across the UK, we know that teachers are at the centre of changing that. We also know what you’re up against: mixed abilities, packed timetables, and limited resources to deliver technical skills with confidence.
So we built something specifically to help.
The new InnovateHer platform is designed to support schools in inspiring students into tech, and it’s directly built using what teachers told us matters most.
Three things came up again and again:
Those three things became the foundation of everything we’ve built.
The platform includes a teacher dashboard with detailed progress visibility, course assignment and achievement tracking, cohort management tools, a teacher guide, and a future AI-powered support feature β all in one place.
Students get courses in Cyber, AI, Sports Tech and more. Alongside inspiring role model videos and interactive activities that connect learning to real careers. All content has been curated with the curriculum and Gatsby benchmarks in mind.

Everything on the platform is informed by the teachers and students we work with. Our research tells us what girls actually need β not just content, but confidence, representation, and relevance.
We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all. We believe in education programmes that are inclusive by design, ambitious in scope, and built with young women β not for them.
We’re opening early access to a small group of schools ahead of our full launch, and we want them to be schools that share our belief that every girl deserves to see herself in tech.
If that sounds like your school, we’d love to hear from you.
