The Opportunity

We’re looking for a dynamic, experienced and entrepreneurial digital strategy lead to join and grow a dedicated team of consultants.

As digital products become more and more critical to organisations in all sectors, Apadmi is supporting those companies and identifying digital strategies that will answer new challenges and unlock even more value. Objectives and opportunities are varied, so for the right person this is a hugely exciting chance to use the experience you’ve already gained – most likely at another consultancy but maybe in-house.

The types of projects and products you might work on may have CRM, loyalty, technology, data or revenue objectives – and many will be mobile. The end users will be as varied as the clients we work with, though in the near term many will be in retail, financial services, healthcare and utilities so demonstrable experience in those areas is a big advantage.

You’ll be a self-starter, but will collaborate with senior client stakeholders, researchers, designers,  and – of course – data but it’s up to you to lead and recommend strategic approaches that are deliverable and measurable.

What you’ll do

In addition to the above, you’ll also find the following key responsibilities as part of your role:

Develop digital strategies that answer varying business problems for a wide range of clients.

Work with clients to identify key objectives that are deliverable and measurable, and work with Apadmi’s product team to ensure that the product roadmaps (when relevant) are prioritised accordingly.

Work with Apadmi’s technology experts to shape tech strategies when needed, recommending the most appropriate platforms or partners that will deliver long-term value

Design and run all the relevant workshops or ideation sessions needed for each strategic challenge

Establish trusted relationships with clients and develop long-term commercial relationships with them, unlocking new opportunities for Apadmi.

Present to C-level standard with authority and clarity

Identify data or research gaps and commission the right people to provide the necessary information.

Work with the new business team on key pitches, using your strategic skills to shape the responses we give to tenders and in pitches

Keep on top of market trends, competitive landscape and emerging trends to identify opportunities for innovation

Manage and motivate junior strategists and supporting roles as the team grows

What we’re looking for

To be successful in this role, we’re looking for someone with:

Experience in digital strategy, digital products and service design

Experience in delivery of strategy for digital solutions that are innovative, new, multi-channel or complex.

Demonstrable skills in strategic frameworks and tools for digital products and solutions

Experience with one or many of following software domains: mobile apps, CRM, e-commerce, customer analytics / CDP, self-service, personalisation

Experience in a professional services firm (min. 5 years)

Experience in Retail, Financial Services, Utilities or Healthcare

Able to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels of an organisation

Strong presentation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

Comfortable working in a target drive, fast-paced environment

Proactive self-starter who can get things done quickly, efficiently and effectively

An entrepreneurial streak
