Overview:

As a Scrum Master, you’ll be a key member of the delivery team focussing on delivery of system integration and software projects across the Apadmi customer portfolio.

The role involves driving efficiency and effectiveness within our teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, innovative products that yield successful results for our clients.

What you’ll do:

Every Apadmi project is unique and you’ll be identifying where you can provide support to our projects and the teams responsible for delivering them, as well as process improvements to set them up for long term success.

Of course you will be well versed in the usual facilitation of Scrum events, owning the effectiveness of the daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospectives but we also need an agile champion who will help inform and grow our own capability and also help educate our clients in agile practices as a way to leverage their own value creation.

You will apply this in typical single squad scrum teams but also at scale using Nexus or SAFe frameworks.

Key elements of the role include:

Supporting the sales process, both early client engagement and ongoing project delivery, by providing education on the benefits of agile.

Shaping our agile practices through reviews, knowledge-sharing and the introduction of new techniques.

Supporting our Learning and Development team in curating and delivering content to the wider Apadmi community.

Ensuring the team works collaboratively and effectively to deliver high-quality products.

Helping the Scrum Team achieve customer satisfaction and maximise value creation.

Identify and troubleshoot obstacles that are hindering the team and the company’s  progress

Promoting continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions.

Working with stakeholders to shorten lines of communication and help remove impediments to the team

Helping Clients, POs and Developers to create, understand and track KPIs, to better understand their performance and deliver high quality products/solutions within project constraints such as timescales and budget

Ensuring that the team follows the Scrum framework and adheres to Agile principles.

Utilising the Scrum and agile principles at scale with Nexus framework.

You’ll be great for this if:

You will have previous experience of guiding Scrum teams through product ideation, inception delivery and continual improvement, preferably in a digital consultancy or software development environment working on large scale applications development and systems integration. You will be excited by a new challenge for a fast-growing digital specialist.

We’re looking for someone who fits the following:

Strong experience delivering digital products

Strong familiarity with software tools like Confluence, Jira, Miro, Lucidchart

Well versed in agile methodology, frameworks and process from Kanban and Scrum through to scaled agile frameworks such as Nexus or SAFe.

Excellent communication, influencing and negotiating skills with the ability to build relationships

You take great satisfaction from seeing the teams you work with doing well and improving, knowing you were a part of making that happen

An effective influencer who is able to listen and build consensus with senior internal and external partners/stakeholders

Self-driven, results orientated and a positive outlook

Reliable, tolerant, persistent and determined

Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to work on own initiative

What we’re offering:

As well as all the standard stuff you’ll get at Apadmi (think holidays, pension, the usual benefits), we are a friendly, collaborative community which offers a range of events, activities, opportunities and rewards for our people. Additionally, we offer excellent career development and training through our very own Apadmi Academy.

This role will be based at our Apadmi HQ in Salford Quays although occasional travel to clients may be required. We also trust our people to work in a way that supports their productivity, so we can offer a hybrid way of working which you are in control of. If it’s good for you, then it’s good for us, so let’s chat about what works during the interview process.

If you think you have what we’re looking for, then we’d love to hear from you. Hit that apply button now.
