The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a dedicated individual to join our team in the role of Management Accountant, supporting the Head of Finance (UK). This position offers an exciting chance to play a pivotal role in our finance department, focusing on month-end procedures, accurate and timely reporting, including board reports, regular forecasting, and annual budget procedures. What you’ll do
Ownership of Apadmi UK’s monthly forecast process assisting the Head of Finance with financial modelling and scenario planning, including but not limited to: – P&L, Headcount, Balance Sheet, Cashflow
Analyse and concisely report on variances for Actuals vs Forecast.
Liaise closely with Group Financial Accountant regarding the consolidated Balance Sheet.
Production of the Apadmi UK Monthly Board Report
Support Group Financial Accountant during the Financial Audit of the Group
Support the Head of Finance during the rollout of a new ERP Financial system.
Assisting with the preparation of consolidated Group Management Accounts and Board Reports for both external and internal stakeholders
Support and implement continuous improvement to processes.
Assist the Head of Finance and the wider business with ad-hoc tasks as and when they arise.
What we’re looking for
Part – Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
Management accounts experience
Be a strong communicator at all levels.
Have strong MS Excel experience.
Strong analytical skills required to investigate, understand, and explain variances.
Sound business knowledge, Accuracy and an eye for detail
A desire to be part of a fast paced and high growth business.
Be computer literate to produce reports and statistical data as required to meet the needs of the job role.
Good working knowledge of the Google Suite (mail, word, excel)
Excellent working knowledge of Excel
Self-driven, results orientated and a positive outlook.
Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to work on own initiative.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with particular attention to detail.
An empathic communicator, able to see things from the other persons point of view and maintain strict confidentiality.
