The Opportunity
As the Group Financial Accountant at Apadmi your primary responsibility is maintaining accurate financial records and reports in compliance with statutory regulations. This includes overseeing day-to-day financial operations, preparing statements, conducting audits for transparency, and managing group consolidations.
Additionally, you’ll play a crucial role in preparing the group board report and providing support for the rollout of new systems, ensuring smooth integration and offering strategic insights for decision-making.
Collaborating across departments, your role ensures financial integrity and actively supports the organisation’s growth objectives.
What you’ll do
Production of Group consolidated accounts on a monthly basis
Reporting of Monthly Group Results to the Board
Responsible for Annual Financial Audit of Group and reporting of Annual Results to Board and Funders/Investors
Responsible for Group Cash and Balance sheet forecasting/Budgeting
Lead the Financial Due Diligence process for PE fundraising in 2023
Responsible for Group Tax position including submissions, forecasting and ways of reducing Group tax in a compliant manner
Supporting CFO in due diligence on future acquisitions
Liaison point for review of monthly Accounts/Forecasts for non UK entities.
Responsible for Balance sheet integrity of Group, including regular Balance sheet reviews.
Developing and managing financial systems/policies/control across the business
What we’re looking for
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
First time mover from practice or have some industry experience
Technically astute
Advanced excel skills
Willing to learn and take responsibility
