Job Profile

We are looking for an experienced software support technician with commercial experience to join our Support Team for a period of 6-8 weeks. The role is focused around providing Support to our Uk and International customer events pre-booked on our platform.

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Team Player working in a small group of other Software Support Technicians, reporting to the Support Team Leader (Manager)
  • Embrace new ways of working in order to deliver better and consistent results in your working day
  • Ability to think outside of the box inside your work centre and beyond to enable learning and confidence building in new types of work
  • Ability to assess and prioritise accordingly whilst supporting customer events.
  • Ability to ask for help and escalate as soon as all other options are depleted
  • Ability to demonstrate sense of urgency relating to customer queries

 

 

About you 

 

  • Proven work experience as a Software Support Technician, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues (software and hardware)
  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications
  • Familiarity with help desk software or service desk (eg. Freshdesk, Zendesk or JIRA service desk)
  • Excellent problem-solving
  • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
  • Nice to have additional certification in any of the Microsoft, G Suite, AWS, Linux, jamf, Apple or similar technologies
  • Proficient oral and written communications skills. Collaborates well in a team environment. Sensitive to clients’ needs, can develop warm client relationships
  • You like the idea of working in TV production, theatre, music or for sports organisations
  • Calm, methodical and resilient, you’ve been in some scrapes, planned your way out and can show others how to do the same
