They`re hiring for a Developer to help them with achieving their vision by designing, coding, unit testing, maintaining and improving technology systems and applications within a Product at LFC. They are also responsible for fulfilling Product service requests and fully resolving Product aligned incidents and problems in line with defined SLAs.

What does this role involve?

  • On a day to day basis you will:
  • Produce quality test-driven code using modern frameworks and development techniques Develop technical solutions in line with specific needs identified through user stories in the Product backlog
  • Ensure that the design and implementation of code is consistent, both within the Product ecosystem and the wider club architecture
  • Develop Product integrations; ensuring full alignment with enterprise wide integration standards
  • Collaborate with Product team stakeholders to estimate delivery work necessary to realise a defined user story through the delivery iteration lifecycle
  • Create and maintain necessary Product, design and specification documentation
  • Resolve technical incidents and problems assigned to the Product by the Service Desk team; ensuring compliance with defined SLAs keeping the Service Desk informed at all times
  • Fulfil service requests assigned to the Product in line with defined SLAs
  • Work with the Associate, Technical Lead to implement application upgrades and patches; liaising with vendors where appropriate
  • Use agreed / best practice security standards and specifications to design, create, test and document new or amended software
  • Support the Product Owner and Associate, Change and Release with change management for amended software
  • Support the identification of areas for improvement / modification that are aligned to user needs, business outcomes or technology / business strategy
  • Support backlog refinement by providing development estimates for user stories
  • Perform unit testing
  • Assist in the development of automated testing harnesses and supporting code as necessary to support stories
  • Support the identification of areas for improvement / modification that are aligned to user needs, business outcomes or technology / business strategy
  • Continually update / expand knowledge, skills and capabilities aligned to multiple different roles in the Product team
  • Provide early and frequent system demos of new Product features

Who are we looking for?

They need somebody with Solution Architecture skills (software design) and experience with AWS, PHP, MySQL, HTML, Javascript, XML, JSON, CSS. You are able to operate in Agile teams and hold a good understanding of DevOps and design / UX / UI.

You have good experience in incident and problem remediation, unit testing, application maintenance and implementing application upgrades and security patches. You have a good understanding of development frameworks and techniques and technical security considerations.
