To celebrate their renewed membership with us, we caught up with Active Profile to talk everything from who they are as a innovative brand, to their thoughts on diversity and inclusion- we think you’ll love them as much as we do!

So, back to basics – who is Active Profile?

Active Profile is a happy home for communications professionals of substance to do their best and most valuable work. We wholeheartedly commit our creativity, personalities, expertise, and commercial principles to transformational projects and people.

What is it that made you want to continue your membership with Innovate Her?

You can’t help but be impressed with the InnovateHer team and the impact their courses have on the community of girls and the businesses they work with. Diversity in tech is a challenge and it can be tricky to hit the right note, and that’s what InnovateHer manages to get just right.  We’re proud to be continuing to play our small part in a big change for the tech industry which will see more girls taking advantage of the brilliant careers the industry has to offer.

What have you found value in by being a part of our community?

It is great to network with like minded people who all support a similar initiative. InnovateHer also generates strong relationships with their partners and in turn has provided informative webinars, which helps us reflect on our processes as a business.  The wider team get a lot from these opportunities to learn.

What are your views on diversity and inclusion in the workplace? Has this changed since becoming a part of our community?

We always strive to be a diverse and inclusive workplace and working with InnovateHer allows us to explore areas we haven’t considered before. Being part of a community means we are exposed to other business’s experiences which is a great way to knowledge share and compare new ideas.

What are your hopes for future collaboration with Innovate Her?

Through assisting with their communication activity, we hope to see InnovateHer grow and reach a wider range of schools around the country to help more girls begin their first steps into the tech industry.

What would you tell other businesses who may be thinking about joining our community?

It’s a great community to be a part of InnovateHer provide a supportive, welcoming and informative space to have open conversations centered around diversity and inclusion, which acts as a great learning environment for the whole team and good networking opportunities for like-minded businesses.
