To get girls ready for the tech industry and the industry ready for girls.

We are trying to achieve this through three strands of activity:

  1. Through our award-winning tech-focused educational programmes for 13 to 17 year olds;
  2. Working with our industry partnership network to improve EDI;
  3. By campaigning to raise awareness on a national level of the need for diversity in tech.

We have big goals over the next few years. We’re seeking an Administrative Assitant to help us keep the cogs turning and support our Leadership team with tasks, keeping us working effectively throughout the week. This role has a crucial part to play in supporting the Head of Partnerships to develop our pipeline of potential partners and keep the service we deliver to our current partner network running smoothly. At times you will also support some wider team initiatives like events or organising team days too.

We are looking for a member of the team who is organised, likes to plan activities and keep on top of deadlines. We’d love to hear from you if you are someone who is good at collaborating with lots of people across different teams, who likes to use our project management tools to keep on top of tasks and can prioritise effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist our Head of Partnerships (approx 2 days per week)
  • Research key contact data on prospective partners using networks, social media and any other relevant channels.
  • Keep our CRM system (Monday.com) updated, inputting data for both partners and prospects and documenting minutes from partner meetings.
  • Manage the logistics of our bi-monthly partnerships community events using Eventbrite to help organise and promote the event, managing invites and comms to secure attendees and providing technical support during events.
  • Collate and share relevant partner news with Marketing for the quarterly partner newsletter.
  • Uploading jobs to our jobs board using WordPress
  • Pulling data from Monday.com to support with quarterly and annual reporting, as well as partner reporting
  • Create invoices and contracts for partners
  • Support the CEO and Head of Operations (approx 0.5 days per week)
  • Organise company away days (quarterly) by booking rooms, travel and accommodation for the team.
  • Schedule meetings with our board, sending out emails and reports ahead of quarterlies and providing support throughout the year.
  • Look after our shared inboxes and triage queries to the relevant people in the business.
  • Support with financial admin tasks, using google sheets as needed by the Head of Operations.

General support for the InnovateHer team (approx 0.5 days per week):

From time to time, specific teams may need some admin support throughout the year during busy periods, these tasks will vary, but here’s a flavour:

  • Supporting the product team with the uploading of content on our e-learning platform
  • Uploading and refreshing content on our website
  • Scheduling and uploading content on social media
  • Support with events as and when needed. InnovateHer events can be quite varied can be general team events, partnerships events or school events. The tasks within planning and delivery will be distributed amongst the team in line with everyone’s roles.
  • Support with research tasks to help growth within the organisation

  • You are comfortable using, or learning to use, tools and applications like Google Suite, slack, monday.com and Miro as well as any additional tools as may be required.

Location:

As a remote-first organisation, you can work from home or any location in the UK. We have an office based in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle. This space can be used for collaboration or as a base to work from if working from home full-time isn’t for you. Once a quarter, we’ll ask you to meet with the rest of the team face-to-face for our planning and strategy days.

For certain roles, more travel may be involved to support event attendance, project deliverables and promote the organisation. Your line manager will discuss these requirements as they arise with you.
