Overview
As a Business Development Specialist, you’ll join our European Sales Team tasked with bringing in new business to further strengthen the amazing Apadmi customer portfolio. You will report to the Chief Growth Officer.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for growing our Executive level network, communicating our value propositions and services to win bigger, longer term Digital experience clients that map to our Ideal Client Profile. Collaborating with the Sales and Marketing team on focused industry campaigns within Financial Services. A strong marketing and lead generation team will support you, but we will be looking for the hunter mindset. You will get well fed at Apadmi, but it is really important to us, you know how to feed yourself too and you can demonstrate that through your track record, knowledge of the industry, the people in it – where the best opportunities are for us to grow.
In addition you will represent Apadmi at industry events for face to face engagement with prospects to drive demand. We are looking for someone with passion, ambition and a strategic outlook to help us win and grow in equal measures.
What you’ll do
You’ll have previous experience of winning in a similar consultative selling role, excited by a new challenge with a fast-growing digital specialist. Highly motivated to hit your KPI targets and promote the Apadmi brand. Key elements of the role include:
Confident, comfortable and articulate in front of C-Suite clients
Domain and Industry awareness of the Digital Product & Services Market
Strength and depth in Financial Services
Able to structure and win +£1m multi-service, multi-year deals
Understanding the Apadmi proposition and examples of the digital solutions we have delivered for our corporate and enterprise clients
The ability to articulate the Apadmi story either face to face or over the phone to excite and interest new prospects
Collaborate with the UK Sales & Marketing team to profile specific industry focused lead generation campaigns
Periodically support Marketing for key Apadmi events and driving quality attendance
Perform customer profiling and build relevant engagement strategies to secure qualified meetings and contribute to new pipeline opportunities
Experience in using and maintaining Sales and CRM tools such as LinkedIn & Salesforce for all activity
Delivering against clear KPI targets e.g. meetings of significance, qualified opportunities, proposal & pitch, commercial strategy – revenue and margin.
Actively seek networking opportunities to develop your prospect contact list
Analysing market opportunities by using data and insights
Be an Apadmi brand ambassador, promoting our values everyday
Support Sales in prepare bid and pitch information relevant to the client and the opportunity
Participate in weekly Sales stand-ups and monthly meetings. Report to the extended team on progress and success from Outbound activity
